The marketplace, explained

How Olorato works

Olorato is not a website where builders advertise. It is the place where a homeowner structures the build. A directory competes for traffic - a construction rail becomes part of the project.

The homeowner should know who is doing the work, where the materials come from, what each component costs and who is accountable for each part.

01 Find an artisan - the simplest transaction

Four steps, in order

01

Select the trade and area

Choose what you need and where. The board shows suitable providers with their rate model, crew size and last-confirmed date.

02

Choose your verification level

Decide whether a Listed provider is enough, or whether you want an Olorato Verified one - checked and dated.

03

Request an introduction

Tell Olorato you want to proceed. We confirm the provider is currently available before anything is released.

04

Availability confirmed, then contact released

Once availability is confirmed and the small introduction fee is paid, contact is released. You are buying an available, qualified introduction - not a phone number.

03 Common questions

Good to know

Do I need an account?

No. You should not need a password or profile before asking who can plaster your house. Saved providers and your project stack live on your device only. The private operating system remains the real source of truth.

What am I paying for when I request an introduction?

An available, qualified introduction. Olorato confirms the provider is currently available before contact is released, so you never pay to reach someone who has moved away or stopped working.

Is Olorato the builder?

No. Olorato verifies, structures, sources and introduces. The homeowner and provider contract for the physical work directly, unless Olorato has separately agreed to provide a managed service.

How does Olorato make money?

Because construction moves through the platform - small introduction fees, supplier opportunity fees, premium sourcing, digital plan commissions and urgent sourcing. Basic supply acquisition stays free: suitable providers apply to join for free.

What stays free?

Applying to join, and basic listing while the marketplace builds supply. Olorato monetises the work moving through the network, not the mere existence of supply.
