One platform, several services
Olorato Homebuilders is no longer only an introducer. Alongside marketplace introductions, it runs Quote My Build, Site Check, a plan marketplace and BOQ sourcing - each a defined service with its own terms. These modules set out the relationship for each. Where a module is silent, the general terms below apply. None of this is legal advice; it is the platform's stated basis of dealing.
General - what is always true
- The physical work, supply contract or professional engagement is agreed directly between you and the selected provider, unless Olorato has separately agreed in writing to provide a managed service.
- Trust marks are earned, never bought. Submission Confirmed means only that a working email confirmed a real, contactable sender. Listed means an operator did basic checks and approved publication. Olorato Verified means the deeper published standard passed, carries a date and expires.
- Olorato is not a substitute for any statutory approval, professional appointment or inspection a project may require.
- Launch pricing is a direction, tested against real transaction behaviour. Amounts are in Botswana pula and may change.
- Paid placement may later buy visibility or featured placement. It never buys a trust mark or higher reliability.
Marketplace Introduction Terms
When you request an introduction to a specific provider, Olorato confirms the provider is currently available before releasing contact. The introduction fee pays for an available, qualified introduction - not merely a contact detail. Once contact is released, the arrangement is between you and the provider. Providers apply free; a removed listing simply no longer appears.
Quote My Build Terms
Quote My Build produces one structured sourcing proposal - a recommended project team and the expected commercial components - not a single turnkey construction contract. Olorato assembles and introduces; each engagement in the stack is contracted separately between you and each provider. Any fee is for the sourcing work and is quoted before you commit.
Site Check Terms
Site Check is an independent visit that records visible progress, material on site, the stated stage and timestamped photographs against your checklist. It gives an absent homeowner independent eyes. It is an information service - it never replaces a formal professional inspection where one is required, and it is not a certification of quality or compliance.
Plan Marketplace Terms
A house plan is a digital product sold under a stated licence - normally a single-build licence for one dwelling on one plot. The plan is prepared for local adaptation and submission; local authority approval is always a separate process and is not guaranteed by purchase. The designer retains ownership on the stated terms. Price, licence and deliverables are shown on each plan before you request it, and the file is delivered securely after payment.
BOQ Sourcing Terms
BOQ sourcing standardises your Bill of Quantities and circulates an anonymised opportunity to suitable suppliers, who indicate that they want to quote. Your personal details stay private until the appropriate stage. Olorato qualifies demand and makes the introduction; the supply contract and delivery are agreed directly with the supplier you choose.
